Auction day is the deadline. We build toward it from day one.
Westcott Industrial runs the full disposition cycle for plastics processing and metalworking equipment — grinding lines, rotational mold machinery, blow mold systems, and every category beyond them — from opening valuation through hammer fall and final settlement.
Who we are
Westcott Industrial was built around the conviction that a liquidation run with rigor produces better outcomes than one run with urgency alone. Auction management is not a fallback position for us — it is the core discipline, and everything else the firm does is shaped by it. The appraisal work is serious because the auction floor demands it. The buyer network is deep because thin participation kills recovery. The transaction structure is disciplined because a poorly managed close costs the seller money they will never know they left behind. That operating logic extends to every category of equipment we handle and to every service we provide — outright purchases, consignment programs, valuations for lenders and legal proceedings, and complete facility exits handled as a single transaction. No inflated estimates to win the listing. No auction guarantees that require the seller to absorb the risk. No category we claim to cover that we cannot actually move.
How we move assets
Westcott Industrial is organized around a discipline that most equipment companies treat as a last resort: the managed liquidation. We treat it as a craft. Every engagement opens with a documented valuation — written figures covering fair market value, orderly liquidation value, and forced sale value — because the recovery strategy has to be built on a defensible number, not an optimistic one. That appraisal discipline covers every category we touch: precision grinding cells, rotational mold lines, blow mold systems, injection molding presses, CNC machining centers, Swiss turning equipment, extrusion lines and extruders, thermoforming equipment, fabrication assets, rubber and silicone processing lines, metal stamping presses, die cast machinery, EDM cells, tool and die toolroom equipment, mold and tooling inventories, and the full range of auxiliary and automation systems found throughout a production facility. Once the valuation is on paper, the disposition path follows from it. Westcott Industrial manages live and online auctions from announcement through final settlement — catalog preparation, buyer qualification, bidder outreach across our North American and global buyer network, lot sequencing, and post-sale collections, all handled under one roof. When a defined auction event is not the right structure, we buy equipment outright with committed capital, providing certainty and speed without contingencies or drawn-out negotiations. Consignment programs are available when the asset profile or the seller's timeline calls for a more deliberate placement — we manage the listing, the buyer conversations, and the close. Plant closures, bankruptcy proceedings, and estate situations each carry their own timeline pressures, and Westcott Industrial is structured to absorb that pressure rather than pass it back to the seller. Beyond individual assets and production departments, we handle complete business sales and turnkey facility exits. We manage these transactions as a single coordinated engagement. The real estate, contracts, and M&E transfer together, with one point of accountability rather than three separate parties working against each other's timelines. Whether the assignment is a single grinding cell, a full thermoforming department, or an entire operating facility, the mandate is the same: extract every dollar the equipment legitimately supports, document it properly, and close it clean.
